I went to the gym today and RAN!! I haven't really ran that much lately. I mostly was doing elliptical but I am going to do a 5k for Autism in May so I decided it was time to run again.
So, here's what I did:
Out of the 3.91 miles I did on the treadmill 3.72 of them was running at 4.3 mph. The rest was warm up/cool down. According to my HR monitor I burned 828 calories (I stopped it early that's why the times don't match!).
It felt great to run, and it was so easy! I think after all that time doing the elliptical for over 6 miles every day, it conditioned me to be able to run with no problem! I'm very excited about this. I defiantly love to run and want to continue to do so.
I already feel like running is tightening my stomach. My abs HURT! Lol, that's a good thing!
